Dinner

An exquisite dining experience that combines relaxation, opulence, and whimsicality

At ESPACIO The Hakone Geihinkan Rin-Poh-Ki-Ryu, our food is served not in one communal dining room, but in the sanctuary of your own room. We aim to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience that, owing to the private environment, is both relaxing yet spectacular.

One classic dish that achieves this in Japan is the beloved ‘nabe’ – a culmination of the finest ingredients in one giant hotpot, traditionally used to add color to cozy gatherings with family or close friends. This ‘nabe’ hotpot, which combines ingredients, atmosphere, cooking techniques, and the charms of Hakone and Kyoto, will be the centerpiece of the menu, and served along with playful touches such as Tominokoji Yamagishi’s famous sushi-inspired ‘Uni Dog’, luxuriously topped with sea urchin in a decadent explosion of Japanese soul food. Here, again, you can relax and enjoy the unique hospitality of ESPACIO The Hakone Geihinkan Rin-Poh-Ki-Ryu.

In addition, international Sake Sommelier Keita Akaboshi supervises the sake pairing for dinner. Please enjoy this special course that will allow you to deeply appreciate each of Tominokoji Yamagishi’s dishes.

【Comment from Sake Sommelier Keita Akaboshi】
At ESPACIO The Hakone Geihinkan Rin-Poh-Ki-Ryu, I wanted to go above and beyond simple food and sake pairings to offer an evening based on the theme of “tripling”: Tominokoji Yamagishi’s refined cuisine and delicious sake, together with matching tableware. I guarantee that your dinner experience will be truly unforgettable.
